The world’s favourite violinist and conductor, André Rieu, is set to return to Etihad Arena, Abu Dhabi with a spectacular new show.
Accompanied by his renowned Johann Strauss Orchestra and international soloists, the “King of Waltz” promises an evening of music, entertainment and joy that transcends generations and musical tastes.
The concert will feature a vibrant and diverse programme, blending opera classics, iconic film scores, romantic ballads and, of course, the waltzes that have made Rieu a global sensation and a household name over a career spanning five decades.
The Dutch maestro’s return follows the record-breaking success of his 2024 Abu Dhabi performance, which drew 12,000 attendees and set a new record for the largest audience for a classical concert in UAE history.
With over 40 million albums sold, 500+ platinum awards, and a combined social media following of more than 16 million, plus billions of views on YouTube, Rieu is among the world’s most celebrated musicians and performers.
The 76-year-old star’s concerts are more than just musical performances; they are immersive, full-scale productions filled with dazzling visuals, stunning stage designs, elaborate costumes and, of course, Rieu’s trademark charisma and playful showmanship.
