World-class dancers from the most prestigious ballet companies are heading to Abu Dhabi for an all-star gala that blends classical work with contemporary pieces.
The All-Star Ballet Gala will be a milestone for ballet in the emirate as it offers audiences a rare opportunity to see some of the world's best ballet dancers in their finest twirls and pirouettes, said Thomas Yaksic Beckdorf, Managing Director of TYB Arts, which manages the artists.
The event will be held on April 22 at NYU Abu Dhabi's The Red Theater, as part of Abu Dhabi Festival.
"Abu Dhabi's rich cultural diversity creates a unique and inspiring backdrop for the All-Star Ballet Gala," Beckdorf said.
"The city is a meeting point for people from all over the world, bringing together audiences with varied artistic sensibilities and deep appreciation for global cultures.
