Abu Dhabi Media, the UAE's leading public media company, announced its Ramadan 2025 programming line-up at a star-studded red-carpet event this week, attended by top Emirati and Arab drama stars. 

The event, held in Abu Dhabi, was attended by Abu Dhabi Media's CEO, Rashed Al Qubaisi, as well as a host of other media figures, government officials and celebrities. 

The upcoming Ramadan schedule will feature a diverse selection of television content, including religious, talk, social and entertainment programmes. 

Viewers can expect a total of 12 drama productions, 8 of which are exclusive to Abu Dhabi Media, comprising 6 Emirati series and 2 Arab productions.

Al Qubaisi noted that Ramadan's programme aligns with the company's strategic objective of enhancing the media landscape through innovation and digital content development, while investing in local talent.

"Through this programming cycle, we made sure to meet the aspirations of the local and Arab audiences and reach all segments of society according to their needs and preferences. The programming cycle reflects the cultural and intellectual diversity of the Arab audience, combining exceptional drama productions, entertainment programmes and content dedicated to youth and children."

A Diverse Selection

The upcoming Ramadan programming line-up includes an exciting mix of diverse and engaging shows. 

Emarat TV will feature "Majalis Mohammed bin Zayed," a series of lectures from the council of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, covering a range of scientific, religious and cultural topics. 

"Akmelou Al-Maseera" will also air on Emarat TV, spotlighting Emirati pioneers who played a key role in shaping the nation's history.

Abu Dhabi TV will present "Buyoutna Qowat Mojtama'na", a talk show hosting insightful discussions between guests as they navigate personal challenges with expert guidance. Meanwhile, the humanitarian series "Qalbi Etma'an" returns with its host Ghaith continuing his mission to assist those in need worldwide.

Heritage enthusiasts can look forward to "Al Shaara", hosted by Hessa Al Falasi, and the religious programme "Bil Hikma" on Emarat and Baynounah TV. 

Additionally, "Ahl Al-Ataa" will showcase real-life human struggles, while "Ashan Sehetak Ya Ghali" offers a fresh take on healthy cooking with Chef Shami.

Abu Dhabi TV will exclusively air knowledge-based programmes such as "Daqa'iq" and "Nasa'em 3", along with "Al Imam Al-Tayyeb," presented by Grand Imam Ahmed Al-Tayyeb. 

The channel will also feature the youth-driven cooking show "Nakahat Shababiyya" and the intimate talk show "Qahwa Ma'a Hind." Emarat TV will further enrich its line-up with the religious programme "Sout Al-Hanajer".

On the drama front, Abu Dhabi TV will bring back the historical series "Al Boom" continuing the story of Shihab's maritime trade adventures, and "Squad", a thrilling adventure series centred on a high-stakes gaming competition. 

"Shghab" delves into social themes across different historical periods, while "Al Baa' Tahtahu Nuqta" delivers lighthearted comedy about three Emirati women pursuing education in the 1980s.

For animation enthusiasts, "Bu Hilal wa Iyalah" will celebrate Emirati values on Emarat TV, while "Alam Majid" on Majid TV features beloved cartoon characters in a meaningful educational journey.

Abu Dhabi TV's Arabic drama slate includes "Al Ameera", a gripping Egyptian thriller starring Yasmine Sabri, "Wesh Sa'ad", a collaboration between Emirati and Egyptian actors, and "Shahadat Mo'amalat Atfal", a comedy starring Mohamed Henedy. 

The highly anticipated second season of "Joudar" and the historical drama "Taht Al-Ard" will add variety, alongside "Fahd Al-Batal", a suspenseful tale of survival and justice.

All programmes and series will be available for free streaming on the ADtv app, along with live broadcasts on Abu Dhabi TV, Emarat TV, Baynounah TV, and Majid TV.
