The Dubai Police, represented by the Positive Spirit Council and Naif Police Station, organised The 'Naif Community Forum' to celebrate the New Year, attracting over 6,000 participants from diverse nationalities.
The event was hosted in partnership with strategic collaborators, including Dubai Municipality, Dubai Sports Council, RTA, Dubai's Department of Economy and Tourism, and Dubai Media Incorporated.
Community Engagement
The gathering, held at Union Square in the Naif area, was attended by Major General Dr. Tariq Tahlak, Director of Naif Police Station, senior officers, Dubai Police staff, and partners.
Major General Tahlak stated: "The Naif Community Forum was organised to celebrate the New Year with residents of the area, offering a range of festive, athletic, and community-focused activities aimed at spreading joy."
Event Highlights
Fatima Buhjair, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council and Head of Cultural Diversity at the General Department of Community Happiness, emphasised the importance of enhancing community bonds through such events.
She said: "This forum reflects our commitment to engaging with all segments of society and celebrating the New Year together. The activities included distributing gifts and prizes to participants, creating an atmosphere of joy and connection."
