ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

TRENDS Research & Advisory has launched webpages for its external offices on its revamped website, incorporating cutting-edge technology enhanced with artificial intelligence. The launch will support TRENDS’ global vision, promote knowledge, foster a scientific research culture, and improve accessibility to its content.

The new webpages offer a digital gateway to a world of possibilities, aligned with the modern identity of TRENDS’ offices, which span four continents with 17 physical and virtual locations.

Each page showcases an innovative approach and provides a comprehensive overview of TRENDS’ objectives, vision, and global mission. They also provide detailed information about the 17 offices’ activities and events and access to the main website. The page highlights TRENDS’ research efforts, academic and advisory councils, and prominent event and activity participants.

The launch of these pages marks a significant milestone. They offer comprehensive information about events, sessions, and features while providing users with faster and easier updates. They also create broader opportunities for engagement in important discussions around scientific research and innovation.

Like the website, the pages are optimised for compatibility with various smart devices, fostering connectivity between TRENDS’ headquarters, offices, and the global community of researchers and academics. They provide an interactive platform for sharing ideas and perspectives on various issues and challenges and a reliable information and data knowledge base.

TRENDS’ physical offices are in Dubai and Al Ain in the UAE, South Africa, South Korea, Russia, and the United States. These offices are not just points of presence but strategic hubs supporting TRENDS’ research and advisory operations. Virtual offices are in China, Germany, Japan, Türkiye, Morocco, Egypt, Brazil, Argentina, and Indonesia.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, said that developing dedicated pages for its external offices aligns with its strategy, global vision, and future goals. He highlighted the importance of knowledge in driving societal progress and development. He added that these innovative steps reaffirm TRENDS’ commitment to staying ahead, particularly by integrating AI into the pages to facilitate access to its research output across diverse cultures. This also opens opportunities for researchers from these countries to publish their studies on the website.

The step also reflects TRENDS’ slogan, Foreseeing the Future Through Knowledge, and its continuous pursuit of excellence in research and institutional work. This aligns with TRENDS’ strategy to analyse the present with a forward-looking perspective, contributing effectively to shaping the future.

Awadh Al-Breiki, Senior Researcher and Head of TRENDS Global Sector said that launching the external offices’ webpages ushers in a new phase of TRENDS’ pioneering research journey. He highlighted how this phase blends advanced technologies and AI tools with research expertise, the boundless ambitions of Emirati youth, and international experts to achieve TRENDS’ objectives and global vision. It also aims to create new opportunities for collaboration with academics from diverse institutions and universities.

Nasser Al-Ali, Head of the Administrative Affairs Sector, noted that the AI-enhanced external offices’ pages are the result of the collaborative efforts of TRENDS staff. He emphasised the integration of the latest advancements in the website’s structure and organisation.

Elyazia Al-Hosani, Director of the Media Communications Department at TRENDS, stated that the external offices’ pages align with TRENDS’ research and knowledge goals. They aim to facilitate easy access to its research output, activities, events, publications, and services for academics, researchers, students, and the public.
