TRENDS Research and Advisory hosted His Excellency Dr Muzaffar Mustafa Al-Jubouri, Ambassador of the Republic of Iraq to the United Arab Emirates, in a panel discussion focused on the role of scientific research in analysing and anticipating global events.
The session featured a rich dialogue on the importance of relying on scientific research and studies to provide insights, solutions and recommendations for addressing challenges and formulating responses. Participants emphasised the need to enhance research collaboration between academic and research institutions in the region and worldwide to gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in the region.
During the session, the Iraqi Ambassador highlighted the crucial role played by TRENDS in fostering dialogue and understanding between different cultures and peoples, noting that scientific research significantly contributes to building trust and cooperation between nations.
Dr. Mohammed Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, underscored the importance of collaboration between research centres, expressing the Center’s commitment to supporting efforts to enhance research and scientific cooperation with cultural and scientific institutions in Iraq.
He added that the panel discussion is part of the Center’s ongoing efforts to build understanding and shared perspectives on these matters. Both sides agreed on the importance of intensifying efforts to launch joint research initiatives and exchange expertise and competencies in areas of mutual interest, thereby strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields.
