As part of its programme for the holy month of Ramadan, the National Library and Archives (NLA) concluded a series of weekly lectures on the UAE’s history, culture and heritage, sharing and promoting Emirati customs and values to instil a sense of UAE National identity among community members.
Director-General of NLA, Abdulla Majid Al Ali, said that the large turnout for the Ramadan Lecture series reflects the community’s passion to learn about core Emirati cultures, traditions, and values through knowledge share and constructive dialogue.
The Ramadan Lectures series featured experts and researchers discussing Emirati wildlife and traditional art forms, contributing to the preservation of the UAE’s cultural values through knowledge share and community dialogue.
