Waterfront Nights’ Ramadan market lineup showcases homegrown talent at Yas Bay

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)


Yas Bay Waterfront, Abu Dhabi’s vibrant destination on Yas Island is supporting local artisans this Ramadan by featuring 20 rising retail and food and beverage businesses in the third edition of “Waterfront Nights” running up to Eid Al Fitr.


The free-to-enter market can be found at the arena plaza in front of Etihad Arena, daily from 9pm to 2am and can be easily spotted thanks to the lights and traditional Ramadan decorations. Enjoy live performances by traditional qanun and oud players as they serenade you with melodious tunes along the waterfront. For the young ones, a designated children’s craft corner to unleash their creativity with the art of making paper lanterns.


Presenting an array of homegrown talent, this year’s night market also showcases SMEs supported by Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development. 


IV Perfume, Sada Oud and FAE Oud & Perfumes will enchant the atmosphere with their perfumes and Emirati incense, just follow the scent. 


If you’re a fashion admirer and value exclusivity, check out Manout Tailoring’s custom clothing and watch your sketched clothing item come to life using handpicked fabrics.


If you want to elevate your space, a visit to Rugzze is a must, offering custom handmade rugs that are not only for decor but also stories woven into patterns. Individuals wanting to express their creativity can head to RFLCT Creative Arts who will be hosting engaging arts and crafts workshops. Guests can also visit several other retail brands specialising in natural skin care, custom wood engraving, jewellery, shoes and more.


Whilst exploring the market, treat yourself to a culinary line-up including the flavours of authentic Emirati cuisine at Mallah and Egyptian koshary from Lazeez Koshary. For desserts, head to MB Dyayah, you’ll think they’re selling fried chicken and Sambosa at first glance but in reality, it’s ice cream. Make sure you also check out Murban and savour their handcrafted chocolates and sweets.
