The Arab Hope Makers initiative, a project of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, has teamed up with the ET Arabic platform, to launch “Art Creates Hope”, a campaign that aims to involve Arab celebrities and artists in various humanitarian projects and initiatives across the Arab world.

The aim is to promote the values of kindness, generosity, and hope among the people and to foster a positive culture in Arab societies.

The initiative will culminate in a grand closing ceremony on February 25, where the winner of the fourth edition of the Arab Hope Makers initiative will be announced and awarded a cash prize of Dh1 million. The ceremony will take place at the Coca-Cola Arena in City Walk, Dubai, and will feature performances by some of the most popular singers in the Arab world. The proceeds from the event will go towards supporting humanitarian work.

The fourth edition of the Arab Hope Makers initiative was launched on June 12, 2023, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who called for the search for Hope Makers in the Arab world. More than 58,000 candidates applied for the title of the first Arab Hope Maker, who will be selected based on their impact, innovation, and sustainability in their humanitarian work.

The partnership between the Arab Hope Makers initiative and the ET Arabic platform is based on a shared vision of “Art Creates Hope”, which aims to engage Arab celebrities in doing good deeds and to showcase their humanitarian side to the public. The partnership also seeks to support and empower charitable work by collaborating with figures who have a high artistic and social status.

“Art Creates Hope” encourages the public to follow and interact with the celebrities and their humanitarian work through the hashtag (#ArtCreatesHope), which was launched in cooperation with the ET Arabic platform. The partnership follows the example of international celebrities who have launched their own charitable initiatives or foundations and who strive to spread a culture of kindness and hope in the world.

A group of Arab artists, celebrities, and influencers have teamed up with the Arab Hope Makers initiative and ET Arabic platform to launch vital projects, cover various sectors such as health, education, food, water, and housing, for the benefit of marginalised groups in several countries. The projects are part of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation, which aims to improve the lives of millions of people around the world.

Ghaya Al Banna, Project Manager of the Arab Hope Makers initiative, said that the partnership with ET Arabic allows the Arab stars to use their fame and influence to raise awareness and encourage donations for the vital projects. She added that the partnership is a continuation of the previous collaboration with the Arab Hope Makers initiative, which honours the most inspiring humanitarian stories in the Arab world.
