The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Saturday was 49.4°C in Sweihan, located in Al Ain region.
According to its bulletin on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Saturday in the following areas:
- Sweihan: 49.4°C at 12:45 pm
- Mezaira: 48.6°C at 2:15 pm
- Um Azimul: 48.3°C at 2:45 pm
- Mukhariz: 48.3°C at 3:45 pm
- Al Quaa: 48.1°C at 2:45 pm
