Abu Dhabi has launched its Digital Strategy 2025-2027, aiming to become the first government fully powered by artificial intelligence. The plan will integrate AI into every public service, with Dh13 billion allocated to drive digital transformation and long-term economic growth.

Dr. Adel Alsharji, Chief Operating Officer of Presight, revealed to Aletihad how the company aims to support the government's vision through its AI-driven technology. As part of the G42 Group, Presight is developing AI solutions and innovations designed to enhance public services, improve government operations, and support smart city projects.

"At Presight, we believe in deploying smart, sector-specific AI solutions that make a real difference in areas like public services, energy, finance and smart cities. For instance, the Presight Intelli Platform, which we unveiled during GITEX last year, will help transform operations and management of the urban realm, improving the lives of citizens as it does so," he said.

A key element of Presight's contribution to Abu Dhabi's AI-driven future is its Enterprise AI Suite -  a set of AI-powered solutions aimed at automating government processes and improving decision-making. The suite comprises Presight Vitruvian, an AI-powered platform for large-scale data processing, and Presight Connect, a cloud-based assistant for human-AI collaboration. Both solutions, according to Dr. Alsharji, aim to accelerate automation and optimise decision-making in public services and key sectors.

The company is also introducing tools aimed at streamlining data management and operational efficiency.

"With tools like Presight DataHub, which promotes secure data sharing, and Presight Report Optimiser, which automates report generation using generative AI, Presight is laying the foundation for fully automated, efficient, and responsive government operations by 2027," Dr. Alsharji explained.

Beyond core government functions, Presight is applying AI to improve emergency response and crisis management. These efforts, Presight COO said, not only align with national strategies to digitize public services and drive innovation, but also "empower governments to harness AI's transformative potential to drive progress".

"One example is our Presight LifeSaver platform, which transforms emergency and disaster management by embedding advanced data analytics and AI into emergency response systems. This robust and responsive ecosystem enables more effective crisis management, enhancing safety for citizens and communities both regionally and globally," he added.

The emirate's booming tech ecosystem and forward-thinking government create a conduit of collaboration opportunities. Presight, having worked with numerous entities and AI research institutions - including the Advanced Technology Research Council – sees this environment as essential for progress.

"Abu Dhabi is home to one of the world's most progressive and extensive artificial intelligence ecosystems and we greatly benefit from being based here. Presight is a G42 Group company and we work closely within the Group to strengthen the UAE's AI infrastructure, creating a collaborative ecosystem that drives innovation and technological advancements," Dr. Alsharji said.

As one of the contributors to the 200+ AI solutions advancing Abu Dhabi's digital transformation, Presight's work is focused on real-world applications and creating lasting value for the broader UAE community.

"Our philosophy is based on the concept of 'Applied Intelligence Today' and how our products and solutions can help businesses or organisations now. This means that we are all about creating AI solutions that truly make a difference, focusing on aiding industries and governments to work smarter, solve complex challenges, and improve outcomes across key areas," he explained.
