Abu Dhabi's ADX rises 0.085%, DFM holds steady at Dh386.6 million

LAMEES OBEIDAT (ABU DHABI)

Closing at 9362.6 points, the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) Thursday experienced a marginal yet positive upswing of 0.085%.

The total value of transactions for the day amounted to Dh1.11 billion, with a total of 69 companies actively participating in the market. Among these, 32 stocks saw an upward surge, while 22 faced declines. The remaining 15 stood resilient, unchanged in value.

Notable gainers for the day included ESG EMIRATES STALLIONS GROUP PJSC, closing at Dh9.9 with an impressive rise of 10.24%, and Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries PSC, ending the day at Dh1.1, up by 7.84%.

Conversely, the lowest prices of the day were recorded by ARAM Group Co., closing at Dh3.380 and facing a decline of 4.79%, and Sudatel Telecom Group Limited, concluding at Dh0.263 with a decrease of 3.66%.

Contrastingly, the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed at 4,159.10 points, experiencing a marginal decline of 0.07%. The trading day witnessed 6,271 trades, totaling Dh386.6 million.

Among the top gainers were Al Ramz Corporation Investment and Development PJSC, closing at 1.60, with a substantial gain of 14.29%, and Commercial Bank of Dubai P.S.C., concluding at Dh6.00, marking an increase of 5.26%.

However, the lowest prices of the day were seen by National International Holding Company, closing at Dh1.26 and facing a significant decline of 10.00%, and Takaful Emarat (PSC), concluding at Dh0.450, down by 7.22%.
