Canadian country music star Shania Twain will perform at the Formula 1 2021 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend in the fourth week of November, it was revealed by the organisers. Twain will perform on the penultimate night of the concert series at Etihad Park on November 25.
Other artists include DJ Tiesto and Ava Max, who will perform two days earlier, while the big race-day concert on November 26 will feature the Foo Fighters. The line-up for the first day of the race weekend (Nov. 24) is yet to be revealed.
Access to all concerts is exclusive for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix ticket holders.
Shania Twain’s performance at the grand prix will be her debut performance in the UAE.
Twain has sold more than 100 million records, which has made her the best-selling music artist and best-selling female artist in the history of country music.
Shania Twain is well-known as the “Queen of Country Pop”. She has won various accolades including five Grammy Awards.
Some of Twain’s most popular songs are “You’re Still the One”, “Man, I Feel Like a Woman!”, and “If You’re Not in It for Love (I’m Outta Here)!”
During the COVID period, the Swiss-based artist, 58, had to be airlifted to the hospital and survived after her health went downhill. She recovered and had a song inspired on the ordeal “Inhale/Exhale Air”.
