The Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre – Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) is showcasing its latest digital projects to strengthen the emirate’s preparedness at GITEX Global 2025.

A centrepiece in its apparatus is the new “Jaheziya Platform” - an integrated, AI-powered digital twin that turns static contingency plans into live, data-driven operations with high-fidelity scenario simulations.

ADCMC is also signing agreements during the week to deepen collaboration in AI, data analytics, as well as crisis-management operations.

Speaking to Aletihad, Matar Saeed Al Nuaimi, Director General of ADCMC, said: “At GITEX Global 2025, ADCMC is unveiling the ‘Jaheziya Platform’, a state-of-the-art AI-powered digital twin system designed to redefine emergency, crisis and disaster management in Abu Dhabi.”

He explained that it “integrates real-time data, predictive simulations, and interactive 3D modelling” so authorities can anticipate risks, coordinate resources, and respond proactively at any scale.

Al Nuaimi added: “The Jaheziya Platform responds to the growing demand for sophisticated, data-driven crisis management solutions.”

Integrated data analysis and high-fidelity simulations drive faster, more informed decisions.

The result is shorter response times and smarter resource allocation that “strengthen public safety and resilience”.

Artificial intelligence is central to the platform’s capabilities, he said.

“AI algorithms perform predictive risk assessments, simulate real-life emergency scenarios, and automatically coordinate operations across multiple entities… enabling timely and well-informed responses.”

Continuous learning enables the system to refine strategies over time. And sustainability is built in.

“By leveraging digital solutions, the platform reduces reliance on physical intervention and optimises resource usage,” Al Nuaimi added.  This lowers costs and environmental impact while “supporting long-term sustainability in emergency preparedness”.

“For Abu Dhabi’s wider ecosystem, the Jaheziya Platform represents a significant opportunity to strengthen institutional integration”, enabling seamless inter-agency collaboration.

It supports “informed decision-making through real-time, data-driven insights.”
It also “empowers local talent by providing exposure to advanced technologies and innovative practices”.

In doing so, it positions the emirate as a model for smart preparedness and response.
What sets Jaheziya apart from other systems, says Al Nuaimi, is its “integration of AI, big data, and digital twin technology within a single, adaptive ecosystem”, delivering real-time simulation and continuous optimisation.

It also enables proactive response planning, “a forward-looking solution for complex emergency management challenges”.

Al Nuaimi said ADCMC plans to deepen partnerships with technology providers and academia.

“The focus will be on enhancing institutional capabilities, empowering local talent, and leveraging innovation to maintain Abu Dhabi’s leadership in crisis management… [to] establish a globally recognised model of resilient, proactive and sustainable emergency preparedness.”
