As the UAE marks its 53rd Eid Al Etihad, healthcare leaders highlighted the nation's remarkable progress in offering proactive healthcare services.

Speaking to Aletihad, they shared insights on achievements and their ongoing commitment to innovation.

Omar Al Naqbi, Chief Executive Officer at Healthpoint, stressed the occasion as a celebration of the UAE's remarkable journey and an inspiration for the future.

"Eid Al Etihad is a moment of gratitude and reflection - a celebration of the UAE's remarkable journey and an inspiration for what lies ahead. It is a time of national pride and celebration for both citizens and residents."

Ali Ibrahim Mohamed Alsaffar, CEO of Capital Health Screening Centre, also draws attention to the importance of collaboration, particularly within the healthcare sector, with a focus on promoting proactive care and fostering a healthier future for the UAE's diverse population.

"As we mark the 53rd UAE Eid Al Etihad, we celebrate the collaborative spirit of the UAE community and recognise the important role healthcare workers play in ensuring our country stays healthy and continually progresses."

Dr. Lateefa Abdulla Ali Huwaishal Alnuaimi, Consultant General Surgeon at Mubadala Health Dubai, expresses gratitude for the continuous progress the UAE has made, not only in healthcare but also across all sectors.

"As we mark yet another year of significant progress, I want to express my gratitude to everyone in sectors like healthcare, energy, education and beyond, for their relentless efforts in making our nation even greater. Dr. Mai Al Jaber, CEO of Imperial College London Diabetes Centre (ICLDC), praised the UAE's global leadership and unity.

Dr. Laila AbdelWareth, CEO of National Reference Laboratory (NRL), drew attention to the UAE's legacy of resilience and innovation, which she believes are reflected in the country's healthcare sector.
