According to the recent 2024 TikTok Travel Index, the UAE is the 10th most popular country globally, with over 14 million posts, placing it ahead of Germany, France, and Spain.
Leading this trend, Dubai claimed the title of the most popular city on the entire TikTok platform, amassing an impressive 29.7 million posts - almost three times more than London, and ahead of iconic travel hotspots like Paris and New York.
The city, which boasts the second-highest number of five-star hotels globally, offers a unique blend of opulence and world-class attractions, making it a premier destination for tourists.
Abu Dhabi, with 5 million posts, ranks eighth among the most popular cities on TikTok, leaving behind global hubs like Madrid, Los Angeles, and Tokyo.
The UAE capital is celebrated for its cultural landmarks, such as the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, and its luxury resorts, which attract millions of visitors seeking both relaxation and cultural exploration.
Following Dubai in popularity, London ranked second with over 10.3 million posts on TikTok, while Paris, Istanbul, and New York round out the top five cities.
