A weather advisory has been issued on Sunday for the emirate of Abu Dhabi, with rain expected across the emirate in the coming days.
The weather update issued today said that light to moderate rainfall was expected across various areas of Abu Dhabi until October 14, including "some limited interior regions, accompanied by moderate to fresh winds with clouds."
The regions of Al Ain and Al Dhafra were expected to receive rain of varying intensity over scattered areas - heavy at times in limited regions, accompanied by active to strong winds with clouds, and possible small hailstones.
The public was advised to:
- Drive carefully and adhere to modified speed limits
- Avoid valleys
- Carry first aid kits
- Prepare alternative light sources
