MUKALLA (WAM)
The Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) inaugurated the second edition of the Productive Families Marketing Exhibition on Sunday at the Hyper Consumer Centre in Mukalla, Hadramaut Governorate.
The exhibition will run until the end of the holy month of Ramadan under the patronage of the Governor of Hadhramaut, Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi.
Notably, the event is being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour.
Approximately 62 productive families are participating in the exhibition. The aim is to support their products, provide them with job opportunities, encourage them to produce, and increase their income.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Shawqi Al Tamimi, ERC Representative, officials in Mukalla who expressed their appreciation to the UAE and its humanitarian arm, the ERC, for organising this exhibition.
The exhibition includes a variety of products offered by productive families, including handicrafts, heritage products, sewing, textiles, incense, perfumes, accessories, and popular food.
Attending officials stressed that the inauguration of the second edition of the exhibition benefits productive families by providing them with a platform to showcase their products and promote their stores, thus improving the income levels of their members.
