Dr Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Adviser to the UAE President, said that a civilian transition of power is the path to a united, stable and prosperous Sudan.
Dr Gargash, in a post on X in Arabic, said: “Setting aside the vulgar remarks made by the Port Sudan representative at the United Nations and the US visa denial to General Al-Burhan, the most significant development in the Sudanese crisis is the notable progress made by civilian forces on the international stage and their active presence in New York and Washington.”
Dr Gargash added: “Sudan’s future will not be shaped by guns. A civilian transition of power is the path towards a united, stable and prosperous Sudan.”
