Good news for non-Arabic-speaking residents wanting to learn Arabic.
Zayed House for Islamic Culture has launched a free Arabic language programme, with registration available through the Abu Dhabi Government's TAMM platform.
Through the service, Enrolment in the Arabic Language Programme for Non-Arabic Speakers, participants can request to attend Arabic language courses specifically designed for non-native speakers.
The programme is offered across five levels and comprises a total of 80 instructional hours, focusing on developing reading, writing, listening and speaking skills through an interactive teaching methodology suitable for both beginners and advanced learners.
The curriculum has been developed in collaboration with international universities to meet learners' needs, according to a statement by TAMM.
Interested residents can register by logging in with UAE Pass or by visiting the service centre, submitting an application and receiving course details via email.
The course runs for five months, and participants can choose to attend either in person at the centre or online through Microsoft Teams.
Particpants who successfully complete the programme will receive a certificate issued by Zayed House for Islamic Culture.
