Two defendants convicted of assaulting petrol station employee, ordered to community service at scene of incident

ABU DHABI (WAM) 

Al Ain Misdemeanour Court has convicted two defendants of assaulting a petrol station employee by force and violence while performing his duties as a public service employee, following a dispute over cleaning a vehicle’s windscreen.

The court ordered the defendants to perform two months’ community service at the same petrol station where the incident took place and fined each Dh50,000 for assaulting a public service employee and disturbing public order.
