The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has warned job seekers, both inside and outside the UAE, against fake job offers and urged them to verify an offer's authenticity before taking any recruitment steps.

In a notice posted on social media, the Ministry cautioned against messages promising high salaries, immediate hiring or fast recruitment, particularly when applicants are asked to pay fees, transfer money, or share personal and banking information.

Employers are required to use the Ministry-approved job offer form, which carries a unique serial number or barcode.

Job seekers can verify the offer through the MOHRE website, smart app, or Call Centre at 600590000.

The Ministry urged applicants to remain vigilant when dealing with offers shared through websites, social media platforms and messaging apps, and to verify before engaging to protect their data and money.
