NCM: Highest temperature recorded across UAE on Friday was 49.6°C in Sweihan

The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) announced that the highest temperature recorded in the UAE on Friday was 49.6°C in Sweihan, located in Al Ain region.

According to its bulletin on X, the weather bureau recorded the five highest temperatures across the country on Friday in the following areas:

- Sweihan: 49.6°C at 1:45 pm
- Al Dhaid: 49.2°C at 1:15 pm
- Al Shawamekh: 49.2°C at 1:30 pm
- Tawiyen: 48.5°C at 2:15 pm
- Al Wathbah 1: 48.5°C at 3:30 pm
