The online automotive marketplace said SUVs remained the preferred vehicle segment between January and June, with browsing trends indicating buyers are placing greater emphasis on practicality, versatility and long-term value.
The view count for the top 5 vehicle makes were: Toyota (10.4 million), Nissan (8.6m), Land Rover (7.2m), Mercedes-Benz (6m) and BMW (3.5m).
Among individual models, the Nissan Patrol took the lead with Toyota Land Cruiser, Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Range Rover and Land Rover Defender as the most-viewed cars in the segment.
According to dubizzle, the popularity of large SUVs reflects demand for vehicles that can accommodate families, long-distance travel and outdoor lifestyles.
"UAE buyers continue to prioritise practicality without compromising on comfort or performance," said Sherif Magdy, Sales Director at dubizzle Cars.
He added that models such as the Nissan Patrol and Toyota Land Cruiser continue to attract buyers because of their reliability, spacious interiors and strong resale value.
The marketplace also said premium SUVs, including the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, Range Rover and Land Rover Defender, remain in demand among buyers seeking luxury vehicles that combine advanced technology with everyday usability.
