ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

Abu Dhabi Police is providing traffic points programme services through a platform at Mushrif Mall from April 20 to May 20, 2026, daily from 4 pm to 9 pm.

This initiative is part of its efforts to facilitate public access to traffic services, enhance quality of life in the community, and support the strategic priority of “Smart Road Safety.”

Drivers are encouraged to take advantage of these services, which aim to help them settle their traffic records and improve compliance with traffic laws, thereby contributing to the safety of all road users.

Abu Dhabi Police confirmed that the platform offers a driver’s license reinstatement service for motorists whose accumulated traffic points have reached the maximum limit (24 points).

This can be done by registering, paying the required fee (Dh2,400), and attending a rehabilitation course for traffic law violators.

The platform also provides a traffic points reduction service of up to 8 points for drivers whose total ranges between 8 and 23 points, after completing registration procedures, paying the fee (Dh800), and attending the rehabilitation course.

The points will then be deducted from their traffic record.
