Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility) issued a brief guide on Sunday, highlighting a simplified process for replacing lost vehicle number plates, encouraging residents to use digital platforms for faster service.
In a post on X, Abu Dhabi Mobility said motorists who lose a single plate can "easily apply for a replacement" via the TAMM platform, using the UAE Pass.
The authority added that different procedures apply if both plates are missing.
Steps to follow:
- Log in to the TAMM app using your UAE Pass
- Select 'Issue Replacement for Lost Vehicle Plate Number'
- Choose the required plate type
- Complete the application and pay the fees
- Select preferred delivery method:
i) Collection from a service centre
ii) Home delivery
The update forms part of the emirate's broader push toward digital mobility services, which aim to make transport-related transactions more efficient and accessible online.
Officials continue to encourage residents to use smart services for licensing and vehicle-related requests, reducing the need for in-person visits and supporting Abu Dhabi's wider smart city initiatives.
