ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The National Centre of Meteorology has forecast moderately warm days and pleasant nights throughout the upcoming Eid weekend.

In its weather forecast for the period from Thursday, March 19 until Monday, March 24, the national weather bureau said the days would be warm, with a general cooling down during the night and early morning hours.

Conditions are expected to be cloudy in general, with increasing cloud cover at intervals, including some convective clouds accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity over scattered areas of the country. Temperatures are expected to decrease, especially on Sunday, March 23 and Monday, March 24.

Winds will be southeasterly to northeasterly, light to moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active with cloud formation. They may raise dust and sand over exposed areas, which could lead to reduced horizontal visibility.

The sea is expected to be generally calm, becoming rough at times with cloud activity in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman.

Expected Temperatures
Coastal areas and islands: 19–30°C
Inland areas: 14–34°C
Mountainous areas: 11–24°C
