Eid Al-Fitr prayers to be held inside mosques only: General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat

The General Authority of Islamic Affairs, Endowments and Zakat has announced that this year's Eid Al-Fitr prayers will be confined to inside mosques across the UAE, and will not be held on prayer grounds or open areas.

The measure is implemented in coordination with the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department in Dubai and the Department of Islamic Affairs in Sharjah.

The precaution is in line with the measures taken by the country to ensure the safety of worshippers.

The Authority calls on worshippers to adhere to the guidelines and arrive early to perform the Eid prayer in mosques to ensure their safety.
