Competent authorities in the Emirate of Fujairah have brought under control a fire resulting from falling shrapnel following successful air defence interceptions.

Emergency response teams contained the blaze and no injuries were reported.

The competent authorities urged the public to rely solely on official sources for information, and to refrain from circulating rumours.
