UAE schools, universities to observe spring break from March 9-22

ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

Following the approval of the Education, Human Development and Community Development Council (EHCD), the Ministry of Education (MoE) and the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) announced that the spring break in the UAE will begin on Monday, 9 March 2026. It will continue until Sunday, 22 March 2026.

The break applies to all students and academic and administrative staff across public and private schools, as well as universities.

Classes and official working hours will resume on Monday, 23 March 2026.
