Residents across the UAE said the authorities' swift action, coordinated response and steady flow of official updates helped maintain calm and reassurance during the recent escalation, praising the country's preparedness in managing crises. Community members pointed out the speed of decision-making, transparent communication and clear safety guidance as main factors that allowed daily life to continue with confidence while the situation unfolded.

Confidence in Preparedness and Coordination

Mona Al Naqbi said that the presence and readiness of UAE defence forces reassured the public, describing their professional expertise as key to protecting lives and property.

"Their advanced expertise ensures a rapid response to protect lives and property... they are our nation's fortress and shield," she told Aletihad, adding that public awareness and support for UAE authorities remain the strongest response to any attempt to destabilise the country.

Fatima Al Mazrouei described the response as "swift and decisive from the outset," which she said demonstrated "a high level of preparedness".

Others pointed to the way authorities appeared to operate within a coordinated national framework.

"We appreciate and trust our valiant armed forces. The response to the event was immediate," said Nabeel Al Katheeri, noting that "all competent authorities are working within an integrated national system" and that updates were shared "clearly through official channels."

The speed and organisation of the response were also praised by Khulood Al Jabri, who said that coordination between authorities appeared structured from the outset rather than improvised.

"[It was] professional and effective, characterised by speed and discipline from the very beginning. The action was not a delayed reaction, but rather an organised one, with integrated coordination among the relevant authorities and a clear distribution of roles and responsibilities," she told Aletihad.

Fatima Ali Mohamed agreed that the response was "swift", adding that it has strengthened her confidence in the UAE's crisis management capabilities.

"Honestly, we are proud that the government's response was swift and clear from the very beginning, with transparent communication and easy-to-understand safety instructions," she told Aletihad.

"I have great confidence in its crisis management capabilities and strong institutional preparedness."

Sara Mousa echoed that sentiment, saying that the country's handling of the developments reinforced her sense of security.

"The UAE has done a fantastic job in every way. I have never felt safer. The minimal damage is nothing compared to what we could have experienced. I just hope it doesn't escalate further," Mousa told Aletihad.

Clear Communication, Public Calm and Trust

"We feel incredibly safe under our wise leadership," Soha Abu Moussa told Aletihad, highlighting the authorities' "transparent and clear communication with the public".

Mohamed Al Zaabi and Shima Rahmdel, meanwhile, said that official guidance encouraged people to continue their daily routines while avoiding targeted sites and debris and relying on verified information from official channels.

"The state has not been negligent. It has guided and reassured the public, countered the threats, and intercepted the missiles. Thank God, the situation is under control," Al Zaabi told Aletihad.

"In all honesty, the handling of the situation was commendable... communication was clear and direct, without any ambiguity," Rahmdel added.

Mariam Al Ali and Zayed Albraiki believe that the prompt publication of guidance and transparent communication reinforced confidence that public safety remains a priority for the UAE.

"We were kept constantly informed of all developments, and this direct communication reinforced our confidence that our safety and the safety of our families are our top priorities," Albraiki told Aletihad.

"This organisation and transparent communication have reinforced our confidence that the safety of the community is a top priority and that institutions are prepared to handle any emergency effectively," Al Ali added.

That clarity allowed residents to respond calmly to the situation, according to Khawthar Rashad.

"From the very beginning, the response was organised and clear, and instructions reached us quickly and in an understandable manner," she said in her statement to Aletihad.

"This level of transparency and rapid response made us feel safe, which also enabled us to manage the situation effectively and strengthened our confidence in the ability of the relevant authorities to handle crises efficiently."

Amina Bin Kalli agreed that the "transparent communication and the issuance of clear safety instructions contributed to enhancing reassurance and solidifying public trust", while Maryam Alhefeiti pointed out that reassurance from leadership helped "alleviate the fear and tension of the people".

"The public has high confidence in the state's tremendous efforts," Alhefeiti added in her statement to Aletihad.

Dr Ibrahim Ali Mohamed also pointed to the role of the public in supporting the response, saying that society in the UAE has repeatedly shown its ability to follow official guidance during crises.

"Civil society in the United Arab Emirates has proven itself trustworthy by adhering to instructions and guidelines," he told Aletihad, recalling how people also "followed directives during the COVID-19 crisis".

Worood Al Hammadi stressed that this strong public commitment to following guidance reflects the level of confidence people place in the UAE leadership, adding that the information was delivered "in record time".
