Emirates has temporarily suspended all operations to and from Dubai until 3pm UAE time on Monday, March 2 due to multiple regional airspace closures.
In an operational update issued on March 1 at 8am Dubai time, the airline confirmed the suspension remains in effect until 3pm UAE time on March 2.
“Due to multiple regional airspace closures, Emirates has temporarily suspended all operations to and from Dubai, up until [3pm] UAE time on Monday, 2 March [2026],” the airline said in its statement.
Customer Advisory
The airline outlined rebooking and refund options for affected passengers.
“If you are booked to travel before or on 5 March [2026], your options are: Rebook on an alternate flight,” the statement said.
“You can rebook on another flight to your intended destination up to 20 days from your original date of travel.”
The airline added that passengers may also request a refund.
“You can request for a refund of your ticket by completing the refund form if you booked with us directly. If you booked your flights with a travel agent, please contact them.”
Emirates urged customers to verify travel details before heading to the airport.
“We urge all customers to check flight status before proceeding to the airport.”
Customers impacted by flight cancellations must contact their travel agency for rebooking, while those who booked directly with Emirates should contact the airline.
“Customers are requested to ensure their contact details are correct by visiting Manage Your Booking to receive updates.”
Ongoing Monitoring
The airline said it is closely tracking developments.
“We are actively monitoring the situation and engaging with relevant authorities.”
Emirates apologised for the inconvenience caused and reaffirmed its safety commitment.
“The safety and security of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority.”
