Etihad Airways on Sunday announced the suspension of all flights to and from Abu Dhabi until 2am UAE time on Monday, March 2 due to ongoing regional airspace closures.

In its operational update, the airline said regional airspace disruptions continue to impact its network, with schedules subject to change at short notice as the situation evolves.

 

"Regional airspace closures continue to impact Etihad’s operations, and all flights to and from Abu Dhabi are suspended until 2:00am UAE time on Monday, 2 March [2026]," Etihad said in its statement.

Rebooking and Refund Policy

Etihad confirmed that guests holding tickets issued on or before February 28, 2026, with original travel dates up to March 2, 2026, may rebook free of charge onto Etihad-operated flights up to March 15, 2026.

Guests who booked through a travel agent are advised to contact their agent directly.

The airline said it is currently experiencing a high volume of customer calls, which may result in longer waiting times.

Etihad said it is working closely with relevant authorities and will resume normal operations as soon as conditions permit.

“The safety of Etihad’s guests and staff is our highest priority,” the airline said, adding that it appreciates passengers’ understanding during the disruption.
