Authorities in the UAE have announced Eid Al Fitr holidays for public and private sector employees.

The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources announced Eid Al Fitr holiday for public sector employees.

According to a statement issued on Monday, Eid Al Fitr holidays for government employees will be from March 19 to March 22, 2026, with work resuming on March 23.

The Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation also announced that March 19 (Thursday) to March 21 (Saturday), 2026, will be a paid holiday for all private sector employees on the occasion of Eid Al Fitr.

 

The statement further clarified that if the month of Ramadan completes 30 days, the holiday will be extended to include Sunday, March 22, 2026.
