For Qatari citizens, National Day is not only a celebration of their love for their country, but also a reminder of the deep bonds between their homeland and the UAE.
They said UAE-Qatar ties go beyond official relations and shine through genuine human connections built on mutual respect, shared values, and a long tradition of standing together.
Since their earliest days of nation-building in the region, the two countries have been linked by culture, family ties, maritime heritage, and a shared vision of stability and progress.
Qatari national Lulwa Khalil described their country’s National Day — marked on December 18 every year — as a time filled with pride and love, and also a moment to recognise regional unity.
“The relationship between Qatar and the UAE is strong. We share history, traditions, and a real sense of brotherhood,” she told Aletihad.
Khalil also expressed heartfelt appreciation to Emiratis, saying, “Thank you for your support and kindness. We wish you happiness and continued success.”
Jawaher Aljaberi echoed these feelings, saying the bilateral relationship does go beyond diplomacy. “The relationship between Qatar and the UAE is strong and based on brotherhood, shared culture, and close ties between the people,” she said, as she expressed her warm wishes for the UAE.
The bond between the two countries is seen in moments of cooperation and solidarity. The UAE’s steadfast support for Qatar resonates deeply with the Qatari people, while Qatar’s trust in the UAE underscores a partnership built on unity, resilience, and mutual respect. This connection is further strengthened through shared celebrations, cultural exchanges, and the enduring human ties that link families across borders.
