The General Headquarters of Abu Dhabi Police briefed the Slovak delegation on the most prominent development practices and advanced systems that enhance the sustainability of security and safety in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
This comes as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen joint cooperation and exchange expertise with security institutions in friendly countries.
Brigadier General Dr. Rashid Mohammed Borshaid, Director of the Saif Bin Zayed Academy for Security & Policing Sciences, received the Slovak delegation, including Matúš Šutaj Eštok, Minister of Interior of the Slovak Republic, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation in policing and security fields were discussed, along with opportunities for benchmarking best practices and development services.
The delegation also learned about the academy’s pioneering role in adopting the latest technologies in police and security training, in line with the highest international standards and practices.
The visit included a tour of the Safe City, where the visiting delegation was welcomed by Colonel Engineer Saeed Abdullah Al Rashedi, Director of the Safe City Department.
Lieutenant Colonel Engineer Ahmed Surur Al Shamsi, Deputy Director of the Safe City Department, provided a detailed explanation of the pioneering achievements and modern systems in place, highlighting the use of artificial intelligence technologies to enhance the security system, according to the highest international standards and practices.
The delegation also received a comprehensive presentation on operational mechanisms and advanced technologies, including electronic monitoring systems and smart solutions that support security decision-making, contributing to improved response efficiency and performance quality.
They were briefed on the latest systems related to towers, cameras, and geolocation tracking technologies, as well as specialised smart models for data analysis and advanced surveillance applications.
