ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD)

The National Search and Rescue Centre of the National Guard, in cooperation with the US military forces, carried out two joint exercises in the United Arab Emirates, aimed at enhancing field capabilities in rapid response, search and rescue, and emergency medical support within the land and maritime domains. 

In a post on its official 'X' account, the UAE National Guard stated that the exercises included practical scenarios simulating emergencies and crises, contributing to enhancing the efficiency and readiness of the participating teams in addressing various field challenges. 

The training also featured a series of virtual scenarios focusing on activating command and control systems and strengthening coordination and integration among relevant entities in responding to emergencies and crises. 

This exercise comes as part of a comprehensive training plan designed to enhance partnership and integration between local and international entities, and to support the national security system, reinforcing the UAE’s preparedness and ability to effectively manage various emergencies, according to the UAE National Guard.
