The General Department of Airport Security at Dubai Police organised a visit to the Seniors’ Happiness Centre in Dubai to celebrate the International Day of Older Persons, observed annually on October 1.
The occasion highlights the rights of older people, the challenges they face, and the importance of providing them with care and support in recognition of their lifelong contributions.
Major Ali Hussain Mubarak, Head of Public Relations at the General Department of Airport Security, stated that the visit reflects the Dubai Police’s commitment to engaging with all segments of society and sharing in their special occasions. He emphasised that honouring senior citizens is a gesture of appreciation for their role in raising generations and their achievements in serving the nation.
The visit featured a performance by the Dubai Police Musical Band, the distribution of gifts to the elderly, and memorable moments captured in photographs with the participants.
