A delegation from the General Administration of Abu Dhabi Customs reviewed best practices in warehouse management within the Finance and Services Sector of Abu Dhabi Police (ADP), particularly in relation to military uniforms and equipment.

During the meeting, they discussed a number of topics and ways to strengthen cooperation between both sides.

Director of the Warehouses Department, Colonel Hamad Saif Al Khaili, affirmed ADP’s commitment to the highest standards in military uniform preparation, in line with institutional development and enhancing work efficiency, stressing the importance of cooperation and knowledge exchange with various government entities to benefit from pioneering experiences.

The delegation was briefed on the types of military uniforms approved by ADP for men and women, as well as the policies and guidelines regulating uniform compliance and the mechanisms for distributing annual allocations.

The briefing also covered the classification and distribution of insignias and governance procedures for ensuring compliance.

The delegation then toured the department’s facilities, where they viewed the different types of approved uniforms, insignias, and medals.

They also visited the tailoring workshop, where they learned about best practices in producing military uniforms while adhering to health and safety standards in the workplace.

At the end of the visit, the delegation expressed appreciation for ADP’s efforts in developing the military uniform and equipment system, emphasising the importance of continued cooperation and exchange of expertise to further enhance institutional performance in line with international best practices.
