In the presence of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the new members of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council have taken the oath of office. The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan congratulated the new council members, wishing them success in their new roles. His Highness urged the new members to work as a unified team to enhance the performance and competitiveness of government departments, ensuring their development to the highest standards. His Highness also emphasised the importance of further supporting Abu Dhabi’s comprehensive development journey, and to fulfil the aspirations of its community to create an ideal environment for living, working and investing, while aligning with future ambitions.
His Highness underscored the importance of continuing to advance the government action ecosystem in the emirate and fostering institutional values centred on excellence, innovation and adaptability. His Highness also highlighted the need to consolidate efforts to drive growth and progress, meet the aspirations of citizens and residents, achieve national goals, and deliver sustainable development and community wellbeing.
