TRENDS Research and Advisory and the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Professionals have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on scientific and legal research, promote creativity and innovation, and integrate knowledge with expertise.

This partnership aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences, conduct joint studies and research to advance legislation and legal frameworks, and develop innovative solutions to contemporary legal challenges.

The MoU was signed by the CEO of TRENDS Research and Advisory, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Professionals, Counselor Zayed Saeed Al-Shamsi.

The agreement seeks to enhance cooperation in support of the UAE’s vision, particularly in raising legal awareness and fostering a better understanding of legal rights across society.

It provides an effective framework for collaboration that ensures mutual benefits, adds value to the legal sector, and enhances opportunities for fulfilling the objectives of both parties while ensuring customer satisfaction.

The partnership also aims to improve performance, streamline procedures, develop customer-focused services, and maximize societal benefits.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali stated that this partnership reflects TRENDS’ commitment to building bridges of collaboration with leading national institutions and contributing effectively to community development.

Additionallt, he emphasised the significance of partnerships with local and national entities in serving and advancing the community.

Counselor Al-Shamsi highlighted the importance of this collaboration in developing the country’s legal professionals.

He said, “The Emirates Association for Lawyers and Legal Professionals consistently seeks to strengthen ties with research institutions to advance the legal sector, and we consider this partnership a key step in that direction.”
