The UAE's Ministry of Interior (MoI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Department of Public Safety in the US State of Texas, enabling mutual recognition and replacement of driving licenses issued by both entities.

In a press statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Interior stated that under the agreement, driving license holders from the UAE and Texas can replace their licenses without undergoing knowledge or road tests. This initiative aims to streamline procedures and ensure ease of movement for residents and visitors from both sides.
