TRENDS Research & Advisory celebrated adding a new achievement to its rich accomplishments by winning the Emirates Labour Market Award, organised by the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratization, for the second consecutive year under the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Activities category.
On this occasion, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, the CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, addressed the Center’s staff, expressing his pride in the achievement. He pointed out that this success reflects TRENDS’s commitment to providing a work environment conducive to creativity and enhancing the UAE’s competitiveness in business. He underlined that this win is not just a title but a culmination of the dedicated efforts of the Center’s team to establish TRENDS’ global leadership.
Dr. Al-Ali said TRENDS will do more quality work in the next phase to maintain this excellence. He said that this award has been achieved through teamwork and the dedication of all the Center’s employees, praising their role in this success, which reflects a culture of collaboration and creativity within the Center.
He added that with this second consecutive win, TRENDS continues to enhance the work environment and empower Emirati youth. Dr. Al-Ali reiterated the Center’s commitment to presenting an example to be emulated in institutional creativity, talent support, and building a bright future based on excellence and innovation.
Dr Al-Ali announced an ambitious plan for 2025, which will be unveiled in January next year. The plan aims to strengthen the Center’s global position and continue to implement best practices in human resources management and innovation. At the conclusion of the ceremony, the awards committee and those who contributed to the awards coordination and follow-up were honoured in a gesture of appreciation.
The Emirates Labour Market Award is among the most prominent awards encouraging excellence and innovation in the UAE’s private sector. More than 7,700 establishments participated this year, highlighting the significance of TRENDS’ achievement.
It is worth mentioning that in just a decade, TRENDS Research and Advisory has established itself among the world’s most prominent research centres, achieving exceptional milestones in rankings and scientific production and earning numerous prestigious awards.
Among its notable achievements is global recognition, including being listed among the top 10 emerging research centres worldwide in the 2016 Global Go To Think Tank Index Report. It was also selected as one of the top ten rising research institutions globally by the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. It also ranked it among the top 10 centres worldwide for knowledge dissemination and tackling the COVID-19 pandemic.
TRENDS has won the Emirates Labour Market Award for two consecutive editions, in 2023 and 2024, the Peace Award from the Global Imams Council, the Sustainability Award at the Abu Dhabi Book Fair 2023, and the Best Global Pavilion Award at the Nairobi International Book Fair 2023.
The Center also set a Guinness World Record for the highest attendance at a lecture and achieved ISO certification in quality for six consecutive years. Its studies have consistently stood out in the global scientific publishing landscape, earning both local and international accolades and recognition.
