Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, met with Mahamat Idriss Déby Itno, Interim President of the Republic of Chad, in the capital, N’Djamena, to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries across areas of mutual interest.

Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan conveyed the greetings of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister,and Chairman of the Presidential Court, to President Déby Itno along with their wishes of further progress and prosperity for the government and people of Chad.

For his part, President Déby Itno conveyed his greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, and expressed his wishes for further development and growth for the government and people of the UAE.

The two sides also discussed ways to advance ties between the UAE and the Republic of Chad, and their development across various fields. Furthermore, both sides affirmed the importance of continuously enhancing bilateral relations, and their commitment toward collaboration to reinforce the existing partnership between the two countries in order to achieve shared interests.
