Nahyan bin Mubarak awarded Medal of Honour of Congress of World and Traditional Religious Leaders

H.E. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, on Friday received the medal of Honour of Congress of World and Traditional Religious Leaders, in Abu Dhabi from the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE, Najmedin Mukhametaliuly, on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak affirmed that the commitment of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to tolerance as an approach, human fraternity as a path, and positive dialogue as a means of communication with everyone, has made the UAE a global model that ‘’we all take pride in’’.

Through his support and sponsorship of all the efforts and initiatives undertaken by the people of the nation in this important humanitarian and religious field, success has been achieved, and the UAE’s message has reached the world, Sheikh Nahyan said after receiving the prestigious "Medal of Honour of the Congress of World and Traditional Religious Leaders" from President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  

Sheikh Nahyan emphasised his commitment to continue working towards peaceful coexistence in the world, stressing the importance of dialogue as a means of building a brighter shared future.

This prestigious medal is awarded to leaders and global figures who actively contribute to promoting the values of understanding and coexistence between religions and cultures, reflecting the important role played by Sheikh Nahyan on the international stage.
