Aletihad’s recent visit to Brazil saw productive engagements with some of the country's most prominent media outlets, contributing to a deeper dialogue between the UAE and Brazil on shared priorities.

The discussions during the meeting focused on the UAE's leadership in key areas such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and agriculture, with an emphasis on the country’s environmental strides and global impact.

Dr. Hamad Al-Kaabi, CEO of Aletihad News Centre, highlighted the UAE's growing prominence in AI development, noting the country's ambitious, large-scale initiatives both within its borders and internationally, particularly in collaboration with the United States.

The conversation also addressed the UAE’s global leadership in sustainability and food security, especially in light of its role as the host of last year’s COP28. Dr. Al-Kaabi pointed out that the UAE’s commitment to environmental preservation and technology aligns closely with Brazil’s own interests in these key areas.

Machado warmly welcomed Aletihad’s delegation, emphasising the importance of the visit and the potential for strengthening ties between the two nations. He shared insights into the rich history and progress of Correio Braziliense, showcasing the newspaper’s role in shaping public discourse in Brazil.

Aletihad’s delegation continued their engagement with Brazilian media leaders during a visit to TV Mirante in São Luís, an affiliate of the prominent South American television network TV Globo.

The meeting highlighted Aletihad’s objectives in Brazil and the opportunity to strengthen relations between the two countries, with a focus on the UAE’s successful hosting of COP28.

Discussions also revolved around the UAE’s leading efforts in environmental preservation, food security, and sustainability – a topic that resonates with Brazil’s priorities as it prepares to host COP30 in Belém.
