On the sidelines of its participation in the 43rd Sharjah International Book Fair, TRENDS Research & Advisory has launched the TRENDS Knowledge Passport, a new community initiative aimed at highlighting TRENDS' global research vision, its knowledge-sharing strategy, and its participations in regional and international conferences, forums, and book fairs.
The TRENDS Knowledge Passport takes its holder on a journey to explore TRENDS' knowledge services, including the TRENDS Knowledge WhatsApp service, the Center’s research programs, training courses, field surveys and opinion polls, as well as research and academic advisory services.
Foreseeing the Future through Knowledge
Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, emphasised that launching the TRENDS Knowledge Passport at the Sharjah International Book Fair carries significant meaning, given the fair’s cultural importance in supporting knowledge. He noted that the passport promotes TRENDS' research vision, which is grounded in foreseeing the future through knowledge, and highlights the Center’s pioneering role in delivering specialized, strategic research and analysis.
Highlighting Research Contributions
Al-Ali pointed out that the passport allows the public to learn about TRENDS' distinguished scientific and research contributions at both regional and international levels. It also supports modern knowledge-sharing trends by incorporating QR codes that enable holders to join the TRENDS Knowledge Community.
Members of this community gain access to real-time scientific analyses of global events, accurate insights into contemporary issues, updates on latest innovations, daily economic snapshots of the markets, and strategic perspectives on global political and economic events.
Public Engagement
Al-Ali explained that the TRENDS Knowledge Passport initiative fosters engagement with the public, introducing them to TRENDS' network of key strategic partners at both regional and international levels. It also showcases TRENDS' diverse participations in book fairs and global forums and provides a map of TRENDS' international offices located in major cities worldwide.
Quick and Flexible Access
Warda Al-Menhali, Director of Corporate Communications Department at TRENDS, noted that the TRENDS Knowledge Passport facilitates quick and flexible access to the Center's knowledge services, encouraging public engagement and allowing individuals to benefit from the knowledge and scientific content created by TRENDS' experts and researchers. Through the QR codes in the passport, holders can access all of TRENDS' knowledge services via its digital platforms.
Al-Menhali added that the passport includes information about TRENDS' strategic partners, such as universities, research institutions, and think tanks worldwide. It also highlights TRENDS' regional and international participations in book fairs and global conferences and provides a map of TRENDS’ external offices, which currently total 17 physical and virtual offices worldwide.
