The third Liwa Date Festival and Auction concluded in Al Dhafra Region at Madinat Zayed.

Organised by the Abu Dhabi Heritage Authority, the event attracted more than 71,000 visitors, generated total sales exceeding Dh2 million and offered a prize pool of more than Dh4.3 million.

The festival highlighted Al Dhafra Region as a leading hub for heritage events and activities, with a lineup of specialised competitions, cultural events and family-friendly activities.

More than 30 types of premium Emirati dates were showcased, supporting the UAE’s agriculture sector.

The third Liwa Date Festival and Auction continues to support local date producers, providing a platform to showcase their products and exchange knowledge and expertise, while promoting the UAE’s heritage and culture.
