In implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to transform Dubai's countryside and rural areas into stunning landscapes, and under the supervision of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the Higher Committee for Urban Planning has approved the Master Plan for the Saih Al Salam Scenic Route.

The plan is part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan.

The Committee also approved 37 projects and initiatives for the development of Dubai's countryside and rural areas over the next five years, at a cost of Dh390 million.

In a video posted on Sunday of Dubai's tourist hotspots, H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed said: "As part of the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, we have approved the master plan for Saih Al Salam Scenic Route, featuring new facilities, activities, events, and services. Our goal is to increase the number of visitors by 600% to reach over 3 million by 2040. We have also approved 37 projects and initiatives for the development of Dubai's countryside and rural areas over the next five years, at a cost of Dh390 million. These aim to provide high-quality services and advanced facilities to meet the needs of residents and visitors.
