Zaki Nusseibeh, Cultural Adviser to the UAE President, affirmed that the UAE's participation in the 19th Francophonie Summit in the French capital, Paris, reflects its commitment to enhancing cultural and diplomatic cooperation with the international community.

In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM), he noted that the UAE's participation in the summit meetings aligns with the strategic vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which aims to promote cultural dialogue and support shared humanitarian values.

He pointed out that the summit discussed several important topics related to enhancing education, cultural exchange, and the role of the French language in fostering international understanding.

He highlighted that cultural cooperation is a fundamental element in building strong relationships with other countries, emphasising that the UAE believes in the importance of culture as a means of communication and a way to build bridges between peoples.

He described the summit as an opportunity to enhance mutual understanding and exchange ideas, underscoring the importance of the UAE adopting a cultural vision that aligns with global trends.

He stated, "We strive to be a bridge for communication between different cultures and believe that cultural dialogue is the way to enhance peace and stability in the world."

He explained that the UAE has become a model in the fields of sustainable development and cultural advancement. He noted that many countries have expressed admiration for the progress the UAE has made in education, culture, and innovation, as well as its interest in sharing its experience and achievements in a short period.

He said, “We shared our success stories and experiences in building a diverse society that celebrates all its cultures, which has made the UAE the focus of attention for countries around the world.”

He reiterated the importance of continued cooperation among Francophone countries to face global challenges and work towards enhancing cultural dialogue and exchanging ideas.
